So delicious.

So just in time for last minute Christmas baking I wanted to share a super simple and super fast Toffee recipe that you’re sure to love! Butter, Sugar, Chocolate and Salt, that’s it!

Toffee with Dark Chocolate and Sea Salt.

2 Cups Butter

2 Cups Sugar

1 Cup Dark Chocolate chips.

2 Tbs Sea Salt

  1. In a large heavy bottomed saucepan, combine the butter and sugar. Cook over medium heat, stirring until the butter is melted. Allow to come to a boil, and cook until the mixture becomes a dark amber color, and the temperature has reached 285 degrees F (137 degrees C). Stir occasionally. As it gets closer to temperature there will be smoke, don’t freak out! t’s just part of the deal.
  2. While the toffee is cooking, cover a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. As soon as the toffee reaches the proper temperature, pour it out onto the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top, and let it set for a minute or two to soften. Spread the chocolate into a thin even layer once it is melted. Sprinkle the salt over the chocolate, Voila! That’s it!
  4. Place the toffee in the refrigerator to chill until set. Break into pieces, and store in an airtight container.

Nom, Nom, Nom……

Super duper simple and really tasty! You probably have the ingredients you need in the house already so why not make some?
